Welcome to Wayside’s Elementary Ministry where students are taught by trained, loving teachers who have a heart for children and for our Lord. The staff and teachers are dedicated to the following:
- Presenting God’s plan of salvation through Jesus Christ and leading children into a personal relationship with Him.
- Showing by words and actions that children are loved and valued as individuals.
- Helping children develop skills in prayer and Bible reading.
- Encouraging children to totally depend on God for guidance in order that they may stand for Christ at home, in the neighborhood, and at school.
- Encouraging children to worship using various media.
- Developing a worldview that encourages children to participate in special missionary projects and focused prayer endeavors.

- Elementary children attend Sunday school classes located on the second floor of the Education Building.
9:15 am - Class groupings are as follows:

1st & 2nd grades — co-educational with boys and girls participating

3rd, 4th & 5th grades—meet separately to provide specialized classes that focus on the needs of each group. Use the following curriculums: Group's "Faith Weavers" and Sunday Cinema
10:30 - 11:00 am - For all elementary students attending both Sunday School hours - videos will be shown between 10:30 and 11:00 featuring animated stories from the Bible or stories with biblical applications.
11:00am - KIDMO is a high energy, interactive, multimedia based curriculum that is presented in a large group environment with small group break outs. Compelling application-based Bible teaching is delivered with fun, fast paced humor that captures kids' attention. The dynamic lessons include worship using music that kids love, Bible review through games, and Bible memory using interactive techniques that help kids learn and retain verses.
