Urban Renewal Ministries
Urban Renewal Ministries is a ministry of Wayside Chapel, whose mission is to make the message of Christ’s love and forgiveness real to urban families by serving them and their children.
Serving at the San Juan Homes on the near westside of San Antonio, Texas, we host a weekly Bible club and provide after school tutoring. Throughout the year, we also help bring together the families for special events, which provide opportunities for parent and child alike to hear the Good News of Jesus. San Antonio Metro Ministry
SAMMinistries is an interfaith ministry whose mission is to help the homeless, and those at risk of becoming homeless, attain self-sufficiency by offering, with dignity and compassion, shelter, housing and services. We provide volunteers opportunities to be renewed and fulfilled as they serve.
Wayside Chapel has been part of a volunteer group serving in a variety of ways and times at SAMMinistry for the past 5 years. Throughout these years, we have seen some exciting changes in the lives of people. For more information, please see our SAMMinistry team page.
