Usher Ministry
People-to-People ministry partners serve as ushers for those attending worship services and special events at Wayside Chapel. Our ushers are more than just “bulletin distributors.” Ushers at Wayside Chapel take a genuine interest in every person who sets foot in our sanctuary or special event venue. Theirs goal is helping people to feel welcome without being overbearing in the demonstration of hospitality to both guests and regular attenders, alike.
Take a moment to meet an usher as you enter the sanctuary, and if you need any assistance, they are there to help!
Interested in joining the People-to-People Usher Ministry?
People-to-People ministry partners provide the second point of contact with the all-important warmth of a friendly greeting. The ushers assist with distributing bulletins, seating, and maintaining a proper atmosphere relevant to the occasion. This includes assisting the elderly, families with young children, and those with special needs. They not only serve during times of offering and communion, but they also stand ready to assist with other needs and emergencies as they arise.
People-to-People ministry partners are assigned strategic points within the sanctuary or other locations in order to be both visible and available. They stand ready to serve the body of Christ and influence the overall Wayside Chapel experience.
