Short Term Mission Experiences

Acts 1:8 “…and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth”

What are Short Term Missions Experiences? Our student missions teams are formed each school year. These teams undertake projects, or "mission experiences", around the globe, loving and serving people from all walks of life.

Why do we have these experiences? The purpose of our Short Term Missions Experiences is to provide service opportunities outside our immediate culture that help develop a compassionate heart for all people.

Who is eligible to participate? 7th-12th grade students who are active in the Student Ministries program.

When is my Wayside Student Ministries Application due? Applications for summer opportunities are usually due the December before.  Contact Student Ministries for the deadlines for specific trips.  **Please note that you do NOT have to have the doctor release filled out upon submission of the application.**

We work with local churches, church planters, and missions organizations, and travel to both domestic and international destinations. In the past we have built houses, run childrens programs, and worked alongside inner city pastors.

Where do we go? See the list below for this year's exciting destinations!
