What should I wear to church?
Whatever you like. You will see ties to casual clothes here at Wayside. We know that God is more concerned with a person's heart than their clothes, so dress in a way that will allow you to best worship Him. Back to Top
When should I arrive?
We suggest arriving 15 minutes before the service begins. Be sure to look for our visitor parking spots which are at the front of our church on the 410 Freeway side. Feel free to talk to one of our greeters or visit the information desk in the foyer so that we can help you find your way to our children’s classes, youth groups, Adult Bible Fellowships and worship services. What are your services like?
At our 6:00 pm Saturday night service and our 9:15 am Sunday morning service the music is a blend of upbeat newer music, traditional hymns and slower contemplative songs. Our 11:00 am Sunday service is more contemporary. Our services are designed to connect the worshipper to the life-changing truth of Jesus Christ and the Bible. In order to help make those connections, we use various elements such as music, an occasional skit or drama, videos, real-life stories from people in our congregation, times of focused prayer and practical messages.
Our Teaching Pastors, led by our Senior Pastor Roger Poupart, share expository sermons that take us into the Word of God on a deep, but practical level so that we are better equipped to go out into the world we live in and apply God's teachings to everyday life. We hope you will find God if you are seeking Him and then grow deeper in your relationship with Him. We celebrate communion once a month. Back to Top
